PUTTING A SMILE ON HER FACE STREET OUTREACH
20th February, 2022 in Akure , Ondo state, Nigeria

It doesn't just happen, you make it happen!!!

A journey of a thousand miles, they say, begins with a single step. Making impacts is one of the things I live for. Ordinarily, I do not know how to go about this because I never thought of starting small. I wanted to start big. I wanted to have an enlarged coast before impacting. (Lol), What a wrong idea.

Reality dawned on me when I realized one needs to start small before coming out big. Hence a need to make a move now i.e., starting from where you are.

I'm happy when people are happy. I take delight in putting smiles on people's faces. Although I'm used to seeing young girls and old women begging for alms on the street, I see them struggling for survival and that makes me sick. I had always thought of a way of helping out, however, I've never gotten a means because I was hell-bent on my belief that 'I need it big before I start'.
The worse experience was on a certain day, I saw a very young girl below the age of five, begging for alms, then she ran up to me and begged. I felt so awful and so bad, nevertheless, at that moment, it occurred to me, that I felt a huge throb within me, it was like the sound of a bomb boom!...and that was it. That was the push!

Fortunately, I heard about GCN and its impact on lives. Without wasting much time, coupled with the fact that I haven't fully recovered from the throb I felt, I decided to join Girl Code Nigeria (GCN). GCN was and is still making impacts. It's absolutely into the limelight.
Let me tell you briefly about GCN.
GCN is an organization responsibly built to support the visions, and goals and to uphold the future of young girls and ladies; to impact society at large. This community is basically and absolutely the best as ladies are currently breaking limitations through this organization of which I'm blessed to be a part.

GCN sees the pains on the faces of innocent souls and concluded to make a move (to take that bold step) and, of course, it was a positive, gigantic and exceptional one as we've started making huge impacts. Recently, GCN went into the city of Akure to bless souls and restore brightness to the beautiful faces of people. We were welcomed with overwhelming smiles. And we were able to help with the little we've gotten. Oh, the blessing and the experience were enormous! You could also imagine that kind of a feeling when you're so elated for blessing a soul. It was a memorable day and an unforgettable experience.

On this note, I would like to share with you some of the aims of GCN

Our Vision:
Creating significant values and impact.

Mission/objective:
- To help in building a relationship with God regardless of religion
- To make remarkable impacts in the lives of ladies within Nigeria
- To help in self-discovery and creative thinking for societal development
- To create a friendly community for ladies to build self-confidence and a healthy mental state
- To encourage and emphasize self-appreciation
- To promote and encourage love among ladies
- Rendering help to those in need.

Let this always be at the back of your mind, your ideas, goals, and dreams would only be a daydream or a waste if you refuse to make a move or take that step! Just give it a try and you'll see the enormous results you'll get.

NB: Impacts don't equate
the fatness of your bank account balance, but you make impacts through the lives you have been able to reproduce yourself in.

A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.

How long does it take you to make an impact, let's us know??

OUTREACH HIGHLIGHTS…

SHARING IN THE JOY OF A MOTHER OUTREACH
(21st of April, 2022 at Mother and Child Hospital, Oke Aro , Akure)

Mother's love

I watch as my people in gcnigeria keep impacting lives!
Women are exceptional, they are endowed!
Seeing the images of beautiful faces filled with smiles truly marks a lifetime experience and it will always remind me of the joy of being a woman!

(More like.OMG! )
“I’ll someday become a mother also!". Hmmmmmm, that joy...

I tell you.
Being called a woman is absolutely the best and shouldn’t be undervalued in any community.
I also sometimes imagine the pain, difficulty, anxiety and all that accompanies the carriage and delivery of a child.

Oh! A mother's love…

The faces of these babies send me lots of messages and sometimes, a mix of emotions... I sometimes wish I could grab them in my hands and just embrace them closely forever!

On the other hand, women are to be pampered, cared for, nurtured, and above all to be praised because they are special and strong. They are home builders and are bound to make a lot of work!
Profound appreciation also goes to the men who have proven to be amazing.

Look here,
you're genetically blessed to be a woman. Stand up now, brace up, fight for yourself!
Do not welcome any toxicity or self-condemnation.
Be you!
Appreciate yourself, celebrate yourself, add value and do this however it comes to you.

Never forget the area of better parenting kids requires maximum attention.
They should never beg for it as it is a call to duty and responsibility.

Children should feel truly loved!

Being a mother is a valuable asset and a task that shouldn't be taken with levity.
I love and celebrate all mothers!

Aren't you excited to be a mother, yeah....drop ya comments and let's see your opinions
