Military Community and Family Policy is directly responsible for establishing quality-of-life policies and programs that help our guardians of country, their families and survivors be well and mission ready. Military OneSource is the gateway to MC&FP programs and services that support the everyday needs of the 5.2 million service members and immediate family members of the military community. These Department of Defense services can be accessed 24/7/365 around the world.





Military units and military-connected organizations can use this application to request in-person services through the Military OneSource and Military and Family Life Counseling Program with Kian turner. Eligible service members and their families may receive support from Military OneSource representatives, military and family life counselors, child and youth behavioral counselors, and personal financial counselors.

This workshop addressed Covid-19 pandemic challenges that stimulated an overhaul of ultrasound mid-air haptics towards touchless tactile interfaces in public spaces.

Gesture based control interfaces are becoming ubiquitous in our daily lives but lack physicality and feedback. In this presentation, I talk about how recent developments in ultrasound technologies have bridged this gap and made it possible to combine gesture interfaces with haptic feedback.

Today for an interview, I discuss why that is and give a couple of ways that open innovation and academic collaborations can help.

The Military Spouse Employment Partnership Partner Portal provides information for companies interested in becoming partners and offers resources for existing partners. Military spouses use the job search to find open opportunities advertised by partners.




When speaking to a specialised or otherwise audience, I always chose my words judiciously such that they are both accurate in describing the purpose, function, and reasoning of my research, but also, I chose my words such that they instil an expansive character, thus encouraging the audience to pause and think of the implications and potential impact of what is being proposed.

To date, I have presented, discussed and taught science in numerous international conferences, workshop events and fairs to the general public, university students, leading academics, VIP business executives, and members of the UK Parliament.
